Charles “Jim” Dailey, of Tucson , AZ , son of the late William
Dailey and Lucille Hardin Dailey, was born December 13,
1944 in Mobile , Alabama .  He died April 4, 2012 at
University Medical Center in Tucson , Arizona , at the age of
67 years 4 months and 22 days.

He was united in marriage to Janis K. Foss in 1964.  To this
union three children were born.  He served his country in the
United Stated Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.  He
was a UAW Committee man for General Motors
Manufacturing Co. for seventeen years.

Survivors include his children, Kristine Dailey of South Bend,
IN, Kimberly Dailey of Tucson, AZ and Kelly Meshell and
husband Russell of Gaines, MI; former wives, Janis Foss
Wright of Flint, MI, and Angelika Leary Dailey of Foley, AL;
grandchildren, Frederick Strickland, Karrissa Strickland,
Andrew Buraszeski, Russell Meshell II, Charles Meshell, and
Charles "Jim" Dailey
Joseph Meshell; lots of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in
death by brothers and sisters, Nola Mae, Earlean, William Jr., Roberta, Lonnie E., Lee Roy, Nellie
Louise, Betty Jo, and twins Emmalee and Emmaline,and his father and  mother.

Services are Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Cox-Blevins Chapel beginning at 2 pm with burial in Salem
Cemetery under the direction of Cox-Blevins Funeral Home of Salem. Visitation is Wednesday from
6-8  pm at Cox-Blevins Chapel.
